NextImg:Copa America 2024: How to watch Messi, Argentina vs. Peru for free

There are just four more days of the group stage of the Copa America 2024, and playing their last sets of matches are the teams in Group A. But no matter the result of tonight, Argentina knows they’ll live to play another day, having advanced to the knockout stage after going 2-0 in the tournament so far.

On June 25, Lionel Messi and the Argentinian men’s national football team beat Chile 1-0 to clinch a spot in the knockouts.

On the other hand, Peru has yet to notch a win in the tournament following a draw against Chile and a loss to Canada. However, none of Group A’s teams have been eliminated yet, so the outcome of tonight’s games (Canada and Chile also kick off at 8 p.m. ET) is crucial to determine which team will get the second Group A spot in the knockouts.

Tonight’s game airs on FS1, but Sling TV, DIRECTV Stream, and more will carry the game at a discount or free entirely for new subscribers who want to tune in to watch Messi play.

Argentina and Peru play each other tonight, June 29, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

Argentina vs. Peru is airing on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), so if you haven’t cut the cord yet, just flip the channel over to FS1 at 8:00 p.m. tonight or log into the Fox Sports app with your cable credentials.

If you just plan to catch a few Copa America matches, three live TV streaming services come with FS1 and free trials for new users.

If you’re planning on watching more than one match, then the most cost-effective way to stream the entire 2024 Copa America is without using a free trial. They run at most seven days and then cost a decent sum to keep the subscription even for just a month. With this option, you won’t get any days for free, but you’ll only spend $23.

Sling TV’s Blue plan includes FS1; right now, you can get your first month for 50% off. Instead of $45, you’ll pay $22.50 — and all you’ll need is one month of Sling to watch the entire tournament through the July 14 final match.

Tonight’s Argentina vs. Peru match is a homecoming of sorts for Inter Miami player Messi — they’ll play at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

Yes! The soccer superstar is the Argentinian National Team’s captain for in the 2024 Copa America.
