The Commanders have terminated embattled exec Rael Enteen, hours after a video surfaced Wednesday of Washington’s vice president of content allegedly accusing NFL players of being homophobic, among other disparaging remarks.
Washington, which is just days away from its season opener against the Buccaneers, confirmed Enteen’s firing to ESPN on Thursday through a spokesperson.
Enteen was initially suspended Wednesday for alleged comments made in a video — recorded by a woman working undercover at O’Keefe Media — in which NFL fans were called “high school-educated alcoholics,” and commissioner Roger Goodell was dubbed “a $50 million puppet.”
“The language used in the video runs counter to our values at the Commanders organization. We have suspended the employee pending an internal investigation and will reserve further comment at this time,” a Commanders spokesperson told The Post’s Ryan Glasspiegel.
