NextImg:Commanders-Bears anytime touchdown scorer props, picks: DJ Moore, Sam Howell

The Washington Commanders face the Chicago Bears on “Thursday Night Football” this evening with a relatively high projected total of 44.5 on BetMGM Sportsbook.

That total is the sixth-highest of the 14 games being played this weekend, as neither team has shown much defensive pushback in 2023.

Here are two anytime touchdown scorer props that have some value to target on “Thursday Night Football.”

After running six times for 40 yards last week, Commanders quarterback Sam Howell is in prime position to show off his legs again on “Thursday Night Football.”

Last season, the Bears allowed nine rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks, and it’s fair to say that they are still every bit as bad against quarterbacks running this year.

The four quarterbacks they have faced are Jordan Love, Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson and Baker Mayfield.

At least two of those quarterbacks don’t run at all and the Chiefs were in the middle of a laugher midway through the first quarter.

The Bears’ defense is beatable in many ways but especially against quarterbacks.

DJ Moore has been a major piece of the offense for the Chicago Bears in recent weeks, and I expect that to continue tonight.

The Washington Commanders’ defense isn’t strong in the secondary, they have allowed the most touchdowns (nine) in the NFL to opposing wide receivers.

Since Week 1, the Commanders have allowed the fourth most yards per pass attempt (8.0) in the NFL, while the Bears have allowed the second most (8.4).

Moore has scored touchdowns in back-to-back games and is a wonderful bet to go over his total in tonight’s game, as well.

The Action Network’s Charlie DiSturco, is also on Fields over passing yards prop as well.
