ESPN’s “College GameDay” will go live from Tuscaloosa, Alabama this morning ahead of an intriguing clash between two SEC teams: the No. 16 Vanderbilt Commodores and No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide.

Almost exactly a year ago, the Crimson Tide, coming off a win versus Georgia, went to Nashville as three-touchdown favorites and ended up losing 40-35 to Vanderbilt; the loss contributed to Alabama missing last year’s College Football Playoff.

This year, both teams are ranked entering this Week 6 matchup (and the Crimson Tide just beat Georgia again). The Commodores are off to their best start and highest ranking since 2008, when they also opened the season 5-0. This year’s undefeated record includes one big SEC win over South Carolina.
