The Volume keeps going up.
The Post has confirmed that Colin Cowherd’s digital media network, which already has popular shows from star athletes Draymond Green, Richard Sherman and Daniel Cormier, has added FantasyPros’ football podcasts and YouTube content.
“We’ve been paying close attention to FantasyPros Football Podcasts and their rapid organic growth in only 5 years,” Cowherd said in a statement.
“We wanted to add the FantasyPros Football shows to the Volume for the same reason they have built such a big fan base: it’s smart, informative, and a lot of fun to listen to.”
The group has two podcasts, with a total of over 20 million downloads a year, that will join The Volume network — the daily “FantasyPros Football Podcast” and weekly “FantasyPros Dynasty Podcast.”
“We’re thrilled to bring our fantasy football podcasts to The Volume Network to share our insights and analysis with their audience of millions of sports fans,” said FantasyPros CEO and Co-Founder David Kim.
“Showcasing our podcasts alongside Colin Cowherd and so many notable shows within their network is a fantastic opportunity, and we look forward to working with the Volume team to elevate our shows to new levels.”
The FantasyPros football podcasts will have cross-promotion where the talents appear on other Volume content and vice-versa.
A big aspect of where Volume has thrived is on YouTube, where it has over 1.1 million subscribers across its various feeds.
It will bring the The FantasyPros YouTube Channel, which has 189,000 subscribers in its own right, into the fold.
The Volume has been particularly adept at going viral with “The Draymond Green Show,” which airs whether the Warriors win or lose.
After the Warriors vanquished the Kings, Green spoke about the respect he lost for Sacramento big man Damontas Sabonis.
“You don’t shake guys’ hands after you lose, I don’t respect that,” Green said right after Game 7 concluded on Sunday night.
“I once left the court when we lost in Game 7 to the Cleveland Cavaliers [in the 2016 NBA Finals] and I went to my locker room and I sat down and I said, ‘This don’t feel right’ — and I walked back out on the court and I showed everybody love.”
