Things got chippy between Clippers teammates Bones Hyland and Mason Plumlee on Sunday.
During an afternoon matchup against the Suns in Phoenix, Hyland appeared to exchange words and a shove with Plumee in a heated incident on the Clippers bench.
In a video of the scuffle, Hyland can be seen making his way over to Plumlee, 33, on the bench, with the 7-foot center appearing to shout something at the 22-year-old guard in response.
Hyland then pushed Plumlee, resulting in teammates separating the duo.
Though it’s unclear what triggered the dustup, Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said after the team’s 119-114 win that Hyland and Plumlee hashed things out.
“They worked it out,” Lue said, according to ESPN. “That’s OK. Everything’s good.”
The Clippers, the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference, will face the fourth-seeded Suns in the first round of the NBA playoffs.
Hyland — who was traded to the Clippers by the Nuggets in February — recorded 11 points, five rebounds and two assists in Sunday’s win over Phoenix, recording 18 minutes of playing time.
He is averaging 11.8 points per game, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists this season.
As for Plumlee, who is averaging 10.8 points per game, 8.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists this year, he played for 22 minutes Sunday and logged nine points, four rebounds, and three assists.
The Clippers finished the regular season at 44-38, winning three of their last four games.
