NextImg:Christina Aguilera would ‘rather not’ be in Britney Spears’ bombshell memoir

Words can’t bring her down.

Christina Aguilera told Jimmy Kimmel on Wednesday that she’d like to be excluded from Britney Spears’ upcoming novel, “The Woman in Me.”

Aguilera, 42, appeared on the late-night talk show to promote her upcoming Las Vegas residency when Kimmel, 55, asked if she was hoping to show up in the explosive memoir.

“Am I hoping?” the “Genie in a Bottle” singer questioned. “I’m hoping that everything is all good with her and everything’s beautiful.”

“I think the future should be celebrated,” the musician added.

When asked by the comedian if she could have a choice of whether or not she could be in the novel, the “Dirrty” songstress laughed off the question before struggling to find an answer.

“For real,” Aguilera quipped, while giving Kimmel a side-eye. “For real?”

Laughing at the singer’s response, Kimmel said he wants a chapter dedicated to him.

“So hopefully you’ll be in it,” the songstress joked. “You’ll make the book.”

“Let’s put it this way,” Aguilera noted. “Rather it be you than me.”

The Post reached out to Aguilera for comment.

Unfortunately for the pop diva, there’s a very real chance that she could make the final cut.

Both women also took part in an infamous pop culture moment when they kissed Madonna at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards.

Aguilera has stood up for Spears, too. In 2021, she spoke out about Spears’ 13-year conservatorship calling it “unacceptable.”

“These past few days I’ve been thinking about Britney and everything she is going through,” Aguilera wrote via X ( formerly Twitter). “It is unacceptable that any woman, or human, wanting to be in control of their own destiny might not be allowed to live life as they wish.”

“To be silenced, ignored, bullied or denied support by those “close” to you is the most depleting, devastating and demeaning thing imaginable,” the singer added. “The harmful mental and emotional damage this can take on a human spirit is nothing to be taken lightly.” (Spears’ conservatorship ended that November.)

The upcoming novel, which is set to hit bookshelves on Oct. 24, has already promised several juicy moments about Spear’s high-profile romance with Justin Timberlake who, according to the “…Oops I Did It Again” singer, cheated on her as well as told her to get an abortion because he was not ready to be a father.

Their relationship hasn’t always made positive headlines, however. Last year, Aguilera unfollowed Spears on Instagram after the former reportedly made body-shaming remarks on one of the “Candyman” songstress’ photos.

“I wish I could have chosen the nannies for my children … my dancers … I mean if I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers I would have looked extremely small,” Spears wrote on a now-deleted image that read: “I found there was only one way to look thin: Hang out with fat people.”

Spears later clarified she had not intended to shame Aguilera’s “beautiful body,” adding it was a “projection of the insecurities I deal with all the time as a result of how my parents and the media have treated me.”

“The Woman in Me” hits bookshelves on Oct. 24.
