Once a Versace muse, always a Versace muse.
Christina Aguilera dug into her fashion archives, resurrecting the iconic green lace-up corset dress she modeled in an ad campaign for the Italian fashion house 22 years ago.
On Monday, the Grammy-winning singer slipped into the vintage number, which features a handkerchief hem, to attend “Burlesque: The Musical,” a stage adaptation of the 2010 film “Burlesque.”
The “Dirrty” singer, 44, serves as an executive producer of the musical and, of course, starred alongside Cher.
Esteemed photographer Steven Meisel shot a young Aguilera barefaced in the fall 2003 campaign, highlighting her skinny brows and face piercings.
Yesterday, however, she put a glamorous, edgy spin on the number by way of black lipstick and strong eyebrows.
She styled the archival piece with knee-high black leather heeled boots, and wore her hair in a bright platinum blond color that resembled the same color she had in the famous ad.

The Versace dress is a red-hot item in the celebrity world, as it’s also been worn on the likes of Beyoncé, Iris Law and Bella Hadid.
Bey sported the look in 2003, too, wearing it on the MTV Movie Awards red carpet with metallic gold strappy sandals and a jeweled statement necklace.
More recently, emerging actress and model Iris Law wore the same vintage piece to Perfect Magazine’s London Fashion Week party in 2022.
That same year, Bella Hadid gave the pale pink version her seal of approval at the Cannes Film Festival.
Looking every bit the supermodel, Hadid waved down to fans from a balcony at the Hotel Martinez, clad in the lace-up look.
With a dress this good, it’s only a matter of time before another celebrity gives it a spin.
