Chiefs wife receiver Justyn Ross was arrested on Monday and is facing a felony charge of damage of more than $25,000.
The 23-year-old was arrested at 2:45 p.m. local time and booked into the Johnson County Sherriff’s Office in Shawnee, Kansas at 3:27 p.m.
There are no bond details available.
According to ESPN, the Chiefs are aware of the arrest, but they declined comment.
Ross is due in court on Tuesday.
In seven games this season, Ross has three catches for 34 yards.
He did not receive a single target in 17 snaps in the Chiefs’ Week 7 win over the Chargers.
“We’re trying to bring him along here,” head coach Andy Reid told reporters earlier Monday. “I know he didn’t have the catches, but he was in on quite a few plays. I just think the more of that, the better for him. He’s got a lot of talent, and we want to keep bringing him along.”
He sat out the 2022 season on the injured reserve after signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson.
