She’s turning back time.

On Saturday, Cher performed at the opening night of Dolce & Gabbana’s multi-day Alta Moda event in Rome, shimmering in a re-creation of her most iconic — and controversial — music video look to date.

Cher paid homage to the Bob Mackie catsuit she wore in the 1989 video for “If I Could Turn Back Time,” a sheer bodysuit with a thin black strip of opaque fabric, which showed off her tattooed behind.

The musician wore the polarizing outfit with a black oversized leather jacket and a statement belt, along with curly, voluminous hair.

Over the weekend, she harked back to the ensemble by way of a crystal-studded catsuit featuring a peekaboo mesh detail and high-thigh boots.

Though the original outfit will forever be iconic, it ruffled some feathers at the time.

In fact, Mackie, who worked with the legendary singer countless times and created the “seat belt” outfit, even confessed to being embarrassed about it.

“We put a lot of wild, sexy clothes on her at different times,” he told Yahoo Entertainment last December.

“Sometimes I’d say, ‘Well, you can’t wear that for this’ … an award show or whatever, and she would [disappointedly reply], ‘OK.’ But she wanted to wear that. Bicycle pants were in, but see-through bicycle pants are really scary.”

“‘Please don’t tell anyone that I designed this,'” Mackie told Cher. “‘Don’t let anyone know this. I’m embarrassed,’ and she was fine about it. Now she admits that, no, it wasn’t so good.”

During her performance on Saturday night, Cher may have also nodded to her blond hair in the music video for her 2001 hit “Song for the Lonely,” stepping out on stage in a platinum wig.

She wore the long locks with a dark green jumpsuit and bedazzled corset, all courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana.

An outfit change and a wig change in one performance? Only Cher could pull that off.
