Fox Sports host Charissa Thompson recalled having one too many skinny spicy margarita’s with a fan.
The Fox Sports host returned to the airwaves during Prime Video’s broadcast of the Colts-Eagles preseason finale last Thursday, and revealed that her excitement got the best of her when she arrived in Philadelphia for her first gig of the 2023 season.
“I was in Philly and I was washing my hands in the bathroom,” Thompson, 41, said during the latest installment of her “Calm Down” podcast with Erin Andrews. “This sweet girl was like ‘omg I love your podcast.’
“I’m chatting her up and chatting her up. All of a sudden I sit down at her table and I was drinking with her and her fiancé and her friend — and then I woke up in the morning and didn’t remember what happened.
“I’m so sorry for my behavior. I get so excited that people listen to the podcast and I was so excited to be back on the road — and the spicy skinny margarita was good.”
It was apparently so good that she didn’t remember how she left the the group outing.
“I had their phone numbers and I texted them and said, ‘What happened last night?'” Thompson continued.
“So you guys, thank you for making sure I got home safe … I’m going to have to be careful out on the road. I’m just having way too much fun. Now that I am happy and lighthearted, I am even more wild than before.”
Meanwhile, Andrews was laughing in disbelief while sitting in her Wear by EA dressing room.
The “Calm Down” podcast shared the clip on Instagram, and wrote in the caption: “@charissajthompson loves meeting listeners and fans and loves to have a good time! Sometimes a little too much fun.”
Thompson seems happier than ever.
The “Thursday Night Football” personality is currently dating Steven Cundari, the co-founder of Summit House, a full-service creative marketing and advertising agency.
Thompson found love not long after she went through a public divorce with sports agent Kyle Thousand in 2022 after two years of marriage.
As for Andrews?
The Fox Sports veteran sidelined reporter welcomed son Mack via surrogate with her husband, former NHL star Jarret Stoll, over the summer.
The couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary in June.
