The Chargers and Cowboys couldn’t wait ’til kickoff.
The teams, slated for an 8:15 p.m. ET start on “Monday Night Football,” faced off as combatants in a pregame fight at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
According to Lone Star Live’s Joseph Hoyt, the skirmish started as the Cowboys were running onto the field and Chargers players “cut them off.”
Cowboys defensive end Dante Fowler and defensive tackle Mazi Smith and Chargers safeties Derwin James and AJ Finley were among those central to the pushing and shoving.
The scuffling lasted almost 30 seconds before coaches, staff and officials broke it up — though not before the stage was set for what promises to be a feisty end to Week 6.
Both teams are looking for some momentum this season and a win over the other would certainly provide that.
