It’s a moment TGL fans will never let go.
When covering Tuesday’s TGL match between the Atlanta Drive GC and the Jupiter Links GC in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., ESPN reporter Marty Smith caught up with Celine Dion at the SoFi Center, where their interview took a Titanic-sized turn.
“Which song from your catalogue best represents your golf game?” Smith asked the superstar singer, who laughed before breaking into her 1997 smash hit, “My Heart Will Go On,” which anchored James Cameron’s blockbuster film “Titanic.”

The five-time Grammy winner then encouraged Smith to start singing with her as she tweaked the lyrics from “I believe that the heart does go on” to “I believe that my ball will go on.”
Cameras then panned to Tiger Woods smiling at the exchange, while Bills quarterback Josh Allen looked on from a separate area.
“You’re not bad,” Dion, 56, told Smith, who responded, “I’m coming to Vegas. I’m going to come to Vegas for the residency.”
As the playful moment between Smith and Dion concluded, ESPN studio host Matt Barrie interjected with a take that has long plagued the billion-dollar film.
“By the way, while we’re on this theme, can I get something off my chest? Rose was so selfish to push Jack off the floating door,” Barrie said. “I’ve never gotten over that.”
Barrie referenced the scene when Rose (Kate Winslet) awaited rescue on a floating door in the frigid Atlantic Ocean while Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) remained in the water.
That moment sparked a debate among fans whether both could have fit on the door as Jack met his icy demise.
Fans, however, were in agreement Tuesday that this TGL scene was top-tier.
“Rose should’ve shared the door, Celine slayed it though,” one X user posted.
“Queen Celine,” another gushed.
Although Woods, 49, enjoyed the show, it was a rough night for his Jupiter Links squad that fell to Atlanta, 9-1.
It’s also been a tough go for TGL as a whole lately, as viewership sank to 263,000 viewers for the 5 p.m. match on Feb. 24 and 297,000 for the match that followed.
TGL’s debut in January averaged 919,000 viewers and peaked at 1.1 million.
