Today, March 8, is International Women’s Day, which happens annually as part of Women’s History Month.
The day, initially tied to women’s suffrage worldwide, was adopted by the United Nations in 1977 and became more mainstream. Each year, celebrations and festivities center around a theme. This year, the theme is #EmbraceEquity.
Prime Video put together a storefront full of female-led TV shows and movies available at no extra cost to Prime subscribers or to buy/rent for an additional price.
Some titles are even available as part of Prime Video Channels, all of which come with a one-week free trial. Prime Video costs $14.99/month or $139/year as part of an Amazon Prime membership; as a standalone service, it’s only $8.99/month.
If you’re looking for something great to stream during Women’s History Month, consider this your one-stop shop. The titles are organized into categories; below, we’ve broken down these categories and some of the titles you’ll find in each.
