NextImg:Cause of death revealed for Demi Lovato’s MMA fighter ex-boyfriend Guilherme Vasconcelos

MMA fighter Guilherme “Bomba” Vasconcelos, known for competing in the UFC, as well as dating pop star Demi Lovato, died in October by suicide, according to TMZ Sports.

According to the case report of the Oct. 15 incident obtained by the website, Illinois state police arrived to a home around 9 a.m. after receiving a call from a woman who said she found Vasconcelos, 38, in the garage.

The report said that police came to the conclusion the death was a suicide after looking at security camera footage from just before midnight the night before, but the body was not discovered until the next morning.

Police found anabolic steroids at the residence, but no other drugs and no suicide note was found.

A toxicology report showed only caffeine in Vasconcelos’ body at the time of his death.

The six-foot, 170-pound native of Brazil was 10-6 during his MMA career, which ended in 2021.

He also competed in Bellator and had shortly before his death said he wouldn’t be able to take part in a jiu-jitsu tournament.

He dated Lovato in 2017 before the relationship ended later that year.
