Catherine O’Hara has been cast in Season 2 of HBO‘s hit post-apocalyptic drama series The Last Of Us.

As of now, HBO has not revealed any details regarding her appearance, only noting that she will be guest-starring in an “undisclosed role.”

O’Hara is the first guest star to be announced following the addition of Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, and Young Mazino as Jesse to the series.

The series, which is based on the video game of the same name, is written and executive produced by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann.

Season 1 featured guest stars Nick Offerman, Storm Reid, and Murray Bartlett among others. Reid and Offerman both scored an Emmy in the guest star category, making it a much sought-after role.

According to Deadline, the forthcoming second season will be filmed in Vancouver and production will begin in February. HBO and Sony Pictures Television co-produce the series. PlayStation Productions, Word Games, The Mighty Mint, and Naughty Dog also produce.

The Last of Us is set twenty years in the future after the destruction of modern civilization. It centers on Joel (Pedro Pascal), a resilient survivor who is hired to help Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, escape from an oppressive quarantine zone.

Season 1 was filmed in Calgary, Alberta, and also starred Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess, Nico Parker as Sarah, Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Jeffrey Pierce as Perry, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, Elaine Miles as Florence, Ashley Johnson as Anna, and Troy Baker as James.

The Last of Us is executive produced by Carolyn Strauss, Jacqueline Lesko, Cecil O’Connor, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Evan Wells.
