Since Selling Sunset first premiered on Netflix in 2019, cast members have come and gone over the years. We’ve said goodbye to Day 1 stars including Maya Vander and the show’s OG villain Christine Quinn. And we’ve welcomed fresh faces like Chelsea Lazkani and Bre Tiesi, two real estate agents who — despite some initial drama — seamlessly fit into the office. But much like the latest season of Netflix’s spin-off Selling The OC , Selling Sunset Season 7 welcomes a controversial new presence to screen who’s giving off major “wannabe reality star” vibes.
In Selling The OC Season 2, Ali Harper — a Nashville resident who crashed an O Group open house, cozied up to cast members, and snagged a spot at the brokerage despite not even having a real estate license — was the character in question. And in Selling Sunset Season 7, Cassandra Dawn — who has bad blood with Bre Tiesi — is the new aspiring O Group agent. Hmm…
Curious who is Cassandra Dawn on Selling Sunset? Why do Bre and Cassandra have beef? And if the wannabe reality TV star is positioning herself to be The O Group’s newest villain?
Here’s everything we know about the new Season 7 cast member.

Though Cassandra is a real estate agent in Los Angeles, she first met the Selling Sunset cast at a broker’s open in Cabo — or should I say she met everyone except for Bre, who she allegedly knew.
When Cassandra said hello to Bre and Chrishell outside a stunning Cabo listing in Season 7, Episode 8, she explained that she was friends with their colleague Heather Rae El-Moussa and knew Bre from “back in the day” when they both did bottle service.
“I wouldn’t say we like actually know each other, but I feel like being in the industry everybody kind of knows of each other,” an uncomfortable-looking Bre added. “We didn’t actually like hang out or like meet or anything.”
“You had your fitness app that you were promoting and I think that was kind of when we corresponded more back then. Cause I think you had a lot of models that were shooting for that,” Cassandra said, adamant that the two did, in fact, know each other.
Bre told cameras (and later her O Group colleagues) that she could barely remember Cassandra and found it incredibly off-putting that she approached her as if they were close friends. After Chelsea and Amanza joined the conversation, Cassandra revealed she just got her real estate license “a few months ago” (hmmmmm!) and Bre used her and Chrishell’s safe words (“Oppenheim wine”) to exit the conversation.
So who is Cassandra Dawn? Per the 33-year-old real estate agent and model’s IMDb page, she was born in Los Angeles, is of Asian and East Indian descent, and was raised in Manhattan Beach, California. “Cassandra not only has been singing and playing guitar since the age of four, but also did theater in high school,” her IMDb bio reads. “Dawn had already done some commercial model work and was an art dealer at a gallery in West Hollywood prior to trying out for Playboy. Cassandra subsequently went on to become the Playboy Cybergirl of the Week for June 27, 2010 as well as was a finalist on Playboy Shootout (2010) and has even been featured in various Playboy newsstand special editions.” Cassandra has a twin sister, Jackie Dawn, who also has a modeling career. And according to Instagram, she has a dog named Winston, too.

You can also follow her on X (formerly known as Twitter) at @CassandraDawnxo, where she had 19,600 followers before her Selling Sunset debut.
Throughout Selling Sunset Season 7, Bre was visibly uncomfortable whenever Cassandra was around. But that didn’t stop Bre’s frenemy Chelsea from inviting Cassandra to lunch with Nicole or office events, and she even asked Jason to consider bringing her on as a member of The O Group team. In Season 7, Episode 11, Jason and Chelsea met Cassandra at a showing where Cassandra asked him to co-list the property with her if she got the listing. Jason left the meetup so impressed that he invited Cassandra to The O Group’s 10th-anniversary party/new office opening, but he did tell cameras that while the tension between Bre and Cassandra “wouldn’t be determinative,” it would affect whether he would hire Cassandra “for sure.”
Season 7 ends with a big blowout between Bre, Chelsea, and Cassandra at the office opening. So the question on everyone’s mind as we await more new episodes is “Was Cassandra ever hired at The O Group?”
Ahead of Selling Sunset‘s Season 7 release, Cassandra’s Instagram bio stated she was selling real estate in Los Angeles and Miami and listed an email address with Reveal Real Estate, Ben Bacal’s company that serves areas of Beverly Hills, Hollywood, LA, and Miami. As of October 28, 2023, Cassandra was listed as a realtor on the site under the name Cassandra Repstad and did not have an agent profile on The O Group’s website (but Bre still does), so it doesn’t look like Jason hired Cassandra after all. But you never know what’s in store on Selling Sunset, so stay tuned for answers in a potential Season 8.
