NextImg:Carson Beck gets emotional over ‘so hard’ move to Miami after huge NIL deal, Hanna Cavinder breakup

A lot has changed since Carson Beck last played a college football game.

A visually emotional Beck stood on the field, soaking up Miami’s season-opening 27-24 upset over Notre Dame on Sunday night.

“Oh man, s–t. The past eight months have been so hard, and I’m just so blessed to be out here. To play again,” Beck said in his postgame interview with ESPN’s Molly McGrath. “Man, I love these guys. We played so hard. In the face of adversity, we got it done when we needed to. So thankful.”

“Man everyone just loves to compete. It’s a real family it’s a real brotherhood… Oh my gosh I’m sorry. There are so many emotions. Just I am thankful for the guys around me. I’m grateful the work day-in and day-out — early mornings, late nights, doesn’t matter. We come out here and execute when time matters.”

Beck had previously declared for the 2025 NFL Draft after he sustained a season-ending elbow injury in the SEC Championship Game while a member of the Georgia Bulldogs.

Rather than follow through with going to the NFL, Beck withdrew his draft commitment and returned to the college game, transferring to Miami University, where he followed his then-girlfriend Hanna Cavinder.

It is believed that Beck received somewhere between $3-4 million to join the Hurricanes, who lost No. 1 draft pick Cam Ward.

The two college athletes had their Lamborghini and Mercedes cars stolen (which were subsequently recovered).

Beck had previously played five years for Georgia and won two national titles as Stetson Bennett’s backup with the Bulldogs.

After the breakup with Cavinder, her twin sister, Haley, had some choice words for Beck.

The Cavinder twins have since gotten boob jobs as it appears that Hanna is single after things went south for her and Beck.
