Mom has got her daughter’s back.
Candy Spelling plans to be there for Tori Spelling amid her divorce from Dean McDermott despite the mother-daughter duo’s own rocky relationship in the past.
“I love my daughter and I support her in whatever she does,” the 77-year-old told TMZ Saturday when asked about the split during a day out in Los Angeles.
Candy then reiterated, “I support my daughter.”
When asked if she would bail out Tori, 50, “financially,” the mother of two added, “Of course. I will always be there for her.”
The “Stories From Candyland” author and “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum often went long periods of time without talking to each other.
However, they were pictured together for the first time in five years in September 2022.
A month later, Tori said she and her mother finally had “a good relationship,” adding, “It’s like next level right now.”
She also credited “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles” star Josh Flagg at the time for helping them reconcile.
Coincidentally, the Bravo star was with Candy when she was asked about her daughter’s divorce and he also gave his two cents to TMZ on the matter.
“I think this is a great idea,” Flagg, 37, told the outlet of Tori and Dean’s breakup, adding that he “really hopes” the separated couple has called it quits for good.
“Tori deserves a really good life and I think she’s a fabulous girl,” the realtor concluded.
“It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own,” the Canadian actor wrote on Instagram at the time.

“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time.”
He then concluded, “We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness. ????.”
However, the post appeared to blindside Tori because McDermott took the message down just hours later, causing confusion about whether they were actually splitting up.
Close friends of the former couple were also shocked, noting that they had witnessed the pair get back to a better place after years of turmoil.
“This feels really out of the blue,” an insider told People in June. “If this had happened a year ago, it would’ve been expected because things were terrible between them.”
The source added, “Sure, they still had their disagreements and didn’t always see eye to eye, but the past six months things had felt good between them.”
McDermott was spotted moving his personal items into a storage unit shortly after.
McDermott reportedly believes that the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum has used their marital problems for attention.
“Everyone knew about their issues, and she didn’t play it down, she played it — even going so far [as] to go outside where she knew paparazzi were waiting holding papers that were a clear indication of a divorce,” a source told the Daily Mail in late June.
McDermott and Tori tied the knot in 2006, but the on-again, off-again couple has had many issues over the years, including a highly publicized cheating scandal in 2013.
