Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part One

Powered by Reelgood

Ethan Hunt and the Impossible Missions Force are back for another mission that seems, well, impossible in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning (formerly known as Dead Reckoning Part One).

The seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible series premiered in theaters last summer and today, January 25, finally made its streaming debut on Paramount+.

Tom Cruise returns for his seventh outing as IMF Agent Hunt in the movie, which pits the IMF against a dangerous sentient AI known as the Entity and its human henchman, Gabriel, who has a dark past with Hunt.

Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny all reprise their roles from previous Mission installments, while Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, Pom Klementieff, and Shea Whigham join the franchise.

In Decider’s review of the movie, John Serba wrote, “[director Christopher] McQuarrie and Cruise push the franchise into fresh thematic places via an AI-generated existential threat, which seems far more relevant than the usual world-saving plot-device MacGuffin pursuit; it’s rare that a Mission: Impossible serves up a truly frightening villain, a bellowing Philip Seymour Hoffman notwithstanding.”

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to tune into Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning on Paramount+. Keep reading for everything you need to know before streaming, including how to watch it for free.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning is now available to all Paramount+ subscribers at no extra cost. Both Paramount+ plans (Essential with ads and ad-free with Showtime) will include the movie.

Want to watch it for free, though? If you’re not a Paramount+ subscriber already, we’ve got great news for you. Paramount+ offers a free trial to all new subscribers that runs for a week, so you can sign up and check out Dead Reckoning without paying a cent.

Following the seven-day trial period, payment for whatever plan you choose will kick in. Paramount+ Essential costs $5.99/month, while Paramount+ with Showtime costs $11.99/month.

They sure are!

In addition to Dead Reckoning, you can watch the following movies on Paramount+:
