tRY IT NOWAfter receiving his second “Angry Runs” scepter from NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” co-host Kyle Brandt during his six-week NFL career, the Giants’ rookie running back was named Wednesday as one of the two winners of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week.
The award is determined by fan vote, and Skattebo energized the Giants’ faithful with 110 yards from scrimmage, including 98 on the ground, and three touchdowns in an upset of the Eagles.
Skattebo’s win sparked a $2,000 donation from FedEx to Food Bank for New York City, which is a part of Feeding America’s network.
“We won the game, that’s what matters the most,” Skattebo said of falling just short of his first career 100-yard rushing game. “As long as we win the game, that’s when I’m happy. I could have gone for 25 yards and zero touchdowns and still been happy that we won.”

Skattebo was up against Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, Packers running back Josh Jacobs, Panthers running back Rico Dowdle and Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
The FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week recognizes standout performances from all offensive skill positions, reflecting the evolving nature of the sport and FedEx’s commitment to innovation and precision.
Skattebo leads the Giants with five touchdowns from scrimmage.

“I think whenever you turn on the tape and watch us play, you see just straight toughness and real hard work,” receiver Wan’Dale Robinson said of how Skattebo’s running style reflects the team identity.
