Today, Caitlin Clark was named TIME Athlete of the Year for 2024. TIME / TIME Person of the Year

Caitlin Clark is ab-solutely on top of the sports world right now.

The WNBA star, 22, was been announced as Time magazine’s 2024 Athlete of the Year on Tuesday with a flashy photoshoot to accompany the article that has fans suggesting she branch out in her career.

For her cover shoot, Clark, who has become something of a fashion star this year, showed off her abs in a Nike sports bra and low-rise Emporio Armani trousers.

Underneath the roomy pants, the Nike ambassador allowed her compression shorts to peek out as she accessorized with white sneakers.

The honor comes after Clark’s record-breaking rookie season for the Indiana Fever following her impressive college career at Iowa.

Time shared her cover on its Instagram page today, and the comment section is already flooded with kind remarks about the athlete’s latest accomplishment — and suggesting she may have a future in the fashion biz.

“It doesn’t get more baller than this ????????????✨❣️????,” one person said while another suggested, “Maybe it’s TIME to get into modeling?????”

One fan gushed, “So well deserved. Nothing like a single athlete being responsible for selling out arenas or having to move to bigger venues because of the demand!”

In her interview for the cover, the Iowa native was asked to describe the past year in one word. Her answer? “Historic.”

“I’ve been able to captivate so many people that have never watched women’s sports, let alone women’s basketball, and turn them into fans,” the athlete said to the outlet.

She even turned pop star Taylor Swift into a fan, with the baller attending the Eras tour this year and the pop star personally inviting her to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce play for the Kansas City Chiefs

Clark has also been recognized for her killer style.

In addition to the sports world, Clark has also dominated the fashion landscape this year, attending events in chic designer outfits — with help from her stylist, Adri Zgirdea.

She made history in a white Prada skirt set and rhinestone top at the WNBA draft to kick off her historic season, pulling double duty as she debuted a Glossier sunscreen on the red carpet before it hit the market.

In April, Clark scored a $28 million, 8-year Nike deal and, in July, she wore more than double her salary in Tiffany & Co. jewelry at the WNBA All-Star Weekend in Phoenix.

We can only imagine what the superstar’s second year in the league will bring.
