NextImg:Cade Otton and Cole Kmet’s multiple TDs win bettor $10,370 on $5 wager

National Tight End Day is the fourth Sunday of October, but this year, we celebrated a week late.

A bettor at FanDuel Sportsbook was all-in on the fringe starting tight ends, with a wild $5 parlay on Cole Kmet and Cade Otton to each score two touchdowns.

The odds were over 2,000/1, coming in exactly at +207300 or 0.05 percent chance implied.

Kmet caught both of the Bears’ touchdowns on the day in the first half, getting the bettor out to an impressive start.

Otton, meanwhile, injected a little more drama into the wager.

The Buccaneers tight end finished with six catches for 70 yards and two scores — including a turnaround grab over Houston’ Henry To’oTo’o in coverage with :46 left in regulation, celebrating with a Rob Gronkowski-style spike.

The catch netted the saavy bettor a whopping $10,370.

The unlikelihood of both tight ends scoring a pair of touchdowns apiece made the win all the more wild.

Between Otton and Kmet, they only had caught 17 career touchdowns in six combined seasons.

As a rookie, Otton began his career hauling in passes from Tom Brady, filling in for Gronkowski, who won a Super Bowl with the team in 2020.

Sunday marked his first-career two-score day, giving him five career touchdowns in 24 games with Tampa Bay.

Kmet, though, has had an impressive career when it comes to scoring.

Sunday was his second time scoring multiple TDs this season, a feat he’s now accomplished four times in the past two seasons.

His odds of scoring two touchdowns (+3300) were high due to the uncertainty involving undrafted quarterback Tyson Bagent.
