NextImg:Bucks vs. Celtics prediction: Wednesday’s NBA odds, picks, best bets

The Boston Celtics have yet to lose a home game this season (5-0) as they host the Milwaukee Bucks in a nationally televised Eastern Conference clash tonight at TD Garden.

The Celtics will look to bounce back after losing in overtime at Charlotte on Monday as nine-point favorites, marking their third straight defeat against the spread.

The Bucks are riding a five-game winning streak, while putting up 130 points in each of the past three victories. Milwaukee’s last three road wins have come by double digits against Charlotte, Washington and Toronto.

The Celtics have taken care of business by covering numbers at home with four consecutive ATS wins. Each of those victories came by 14 or more points.

Back to full health, Bucks guard Damian Lillard has stepped up recently by averaging 28.2 points per game over the last four contests, while Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off consecutive 40-plus point outings.

Boston star Jayson Tatum had a 45-point effort in Monday’s overtime setback at Charlotte, while he pulled down at least 10 rebounds in six games this season.

However, he has been downgraded to questionable for tonight’s game with a non-COVID illness.

As a throwback player who does everything he can to play, it would be unusual to see Tatum miss this game.

He sat out only eight times last season and hasn’t missed a game this year.

The Celtics have covered five straight meetings with the Bucks, including winning two of three matchups last season.

Let’s ride Boston as a five-point home favorite to cash against Milwaukee. But make sure to keep an eye on Tatum’s status before placing your wager.
