The Celtics’ blowout win against the Bucks on Thursday wasn’t without some fireworks.

During the final moments of the fourth quarter, Bucks forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo – brother of superstar teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo – got tangled up with the Celtics’ Blake Griffin while attempting to go up for a shot and was fouled.

Antetokounmpo, 30, retaliated by headbutting the 34-year-old forward, and was ejected after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul.

Players from both teams then made their way over to Antetokounmpo and Griffin, who were separated.

Griffin also got a Flagrant 1 foul.

At the time of the scrum, the Celtics — currently in second place in the Eastern Conference standings — held a 136-92 lead over the first-place Bucks.

Boston continued its annihilation of Milwaukee with a 140-99 win.

Before closing out the chippy contest, however, the Celtics poked fun at the incident with Antetokounmpo as Jaylen Brown playfully provided Griffin with his protective face mask.

Cameras caught the teammates having a laugh as Griffin could be seen briefly wearing the shield.

Griffin logged four points and one assist in Thursday’s win with six minutes of playing time.

As for Antetokounmpo, he recorded one point and one assist through eight minutes.

Although the Bucks and Celtics won’t cross paths again during the regular season, it’s possible they could square off in the playoffs.

The Celtics topped the Bucks in seven games during last year’s Eastern Conference semi-finals.

Boston ultimately reached the NBA Finals, but was defeated by Golden State in six games.
