Bryce James, LeBron James’ youngest son, is moving to a new school.
The incoming junior is transferring to Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
James spent last season, his sophomore year, at Sierra Canyon High School before he was expected to transfer to Campbell Hall, but the move didn’t pan out.
James un-enrolled from Campbell by Wednesday, Sports Illustrated’s Tarek Fattal reported.
He then practiced with Notre Dame on the same day, per the Los Angeles Times.
The 6-foot-6 wing played last season at Sierra Canyon with his older brother, Bronny James, who committed to USC in April.
Bronny suffered cardiac arrest during a USC basketball practice in late July.
Days later after his discharge from the hospital, Bronny was seen going to dinner with his family in Santa Monica and playing piano on social media, but it’s not known when he will be able to return to the basketball court.
It’s still unclear what caused his cardiac arrest.
The 16-year-old Bryce is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 102 overall prospect in the 2025 class in 247Sports’ latest prospect rankings.
As a sophomore at Sierra Canyon last season, he spent time with both the junior varsity and varsity team, scoring 3.8 points per game in 12 varsity contests.
James received a college scholarship offer from Duquesne University in August 2022 at the age of 15.
