The Brooklyn Nets closed down one of Manhattan’s hottest restaurants for a late night of celebrations on Friday.
The NBA stars booked Sei Less — an Asian fusion eatery frequented by the likes of Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart — for a private party of about 75 people, Page Six has exclusively learned.
The bash was hosted in part in honor of Spencer Dinwiddie’s milestone 30th birthday.
Earlier this week, the point guard’s teammates surprised him with a cake inside the locker room.
However, the entire team had a second reason to pop bottles Friday night as they just clinched an NBA playoff berth.
The Nets seemingly pulled out all of the stops for the party as we’re told that in order for Sei Less to be shut down for the general public, partygoers must purchase packages that cost at least $60,000.
“Sei Less offers different buyout packages for certain VIP clients that enables them to buy out the restaurant and keep the kitchen open late to serve signature dishes,” an insider tells us.
It is unclear how much the Nets spent on their lavish fête, but a source says most guests dined on salt and pepper lobster and chicken satay throughout the evening.
The party kicked off shortly before midnight and lasted until 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
We’re also told some of the notable names seen partying it up were Ben Simmons, Mikal Bridges, Royce O’Neale, Dorian Finney Smith, Nic Claxton and, of course, Dinwiddie.
While some of the athletes brought dates to the celebration, a source says that Simmons’ rumored girlfriend Eiza González was not present.
Two months ago, the duo were spotted out on a date together in New York City. However, they have yet to confirm that they are an official couple.
An insider previously told us the pair had been seeing each other for “a few months” but were “hiding and trying not to get seen [together].”
While Simmons, 26, and González, 33, may still be trying to lay low, a former celebrity couple did not mind being seen at Sei Less together.
Kanye West and Julia Fox — who had a short-lived fling in early 2022 — celebrated the “Uncut Gem” star’s birthday at the celebrity hotspot last year.
