A Starrett City mom has been identified as the victim of a fatal stabbing in her own home.
Donna Hyman, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene just after 7 p.m. inside her Brooklyn apartment at 1500 Hornell Loop, after an apparent dispute with her own son, who was also injured, police said.
The son, 36, who has not been charged or publicly identified, was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition.
Both had multiple stab wounds in their torsos, authorities said.
Police found the bloodshed after responding to a 911 call from the apartment.
A motive for the deadly dispute is not yet clear, a department spokesman said.
Cops are also probing whether a dog thrown to its death from an 11th-story apartment was related to the stabbing.
The dog was found dead on the side of the building, police said.
As of Saturday morning, there were no arrests “and no one is in custody,” the NYPD said.
