The Bronny James era is about to begin at USC.

Less than four months after the freshman, the son of NBA superstar LeBron James, suffered cardiac arrest while practicing on the Trojans’ campus, he is likely going to make his collegiate debut.

USC head coach Andy Enfield told reporters Thursday that James is likely to play on Sunday when the Trojans take on Long Beach State.

A final decision will be made after he goes through Friday’s practice and is again evaluated.

“All indications are he feels great, and he looks good,” Enfield said, according to the Los Angeles Times

James, 19, suffered cardiac arrest and collapsed while briefly losing consciousness during a team practice at Galen Center on July 24.

He received immediate medical attention and was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, remaining there for three days before he was discharged

The USC freshman was cleared for a full return on Nov. 30 and then took part in warmups before the  Trojans’ 89-76 loss to Gonzaga on Dec. 2.

“Bronny James is now cleared by his doctors for a full return to basketball,” the James family said in a statement on Nov. 30. “Bronny will have a final evaluation with USC staff this week, resume practice next week and return to games soon after.

“The James family would like to express their gratitude to the incredible medical team, the entire USC community, and especially the countless friends, family, and fans for their love and support. Fight On!”

LeBron James, the four-time NBA champion, previously said he would be at his son’s collegiate debut — even if it meant missing a game for the Lakers.

But with the way the schedule worked out, the Lakers don’t have a game Sunday, though they could play Saturday night in Las Vegas if they make the NBA In-Season Tournament final.

“It’s exciting. I’m looking forward to his first game,” James said, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, on Dec. 1. “I already told my teammates that if they’re playing on the same day we’re playing, then I’m going to catch them the next game. Family over everything.”
