Jennifer Lopez honored her late hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero, in an emotional Instagram tribute.
The singer posted a black-and-white photo of the 34-year-old on Tuesday, noting that she had “been having trouble putting the words together” since his passing over the weekend.
“I’m still in shock that such a beautiful young life has come to an end,” the Grammy nominee, 55, wrote. “It seems senseless and unfair.”
She added, “I know your family is brokenhearted as am I and everyone else who knew you. Your spirit moved on to the next phase beyond this life but I know wherever you are there is beauty and light.
“And the beauty and light you left here will live on forever,” Lopez continued. “Rest in peace, sweet angel… ????”
The performer, who has worked with Guerrero for years, called it “no surprise” that he was named Jesus.

“You were gentle and kind and loving, quiet and unassuming, but so powerful, and your presence was felt the minute you walked into any room,” she gushed. “You never demanded the spotlight. You never needed to make a sound to be recognized.”
She explained that Guerrero’s “heart and … talent did that as effortlessly as [his] artistry did.”
News broke of Guerrero’s “very shocking and unexpected” death on Sunday.
The beautician seemingly worked with Lopez days prior as she tagged him as part of her Abu Dhabi glam team on Feb. 19.
Guerrero’s other celebrity clients include Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry.
Jenner, 27, is reportedly covering his funeral expenses, for which Guerrero’s family thanked her via GoFundMe.
“The pain of losing you is just unbearable and i don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love,” the “Kardashians” star’s Tuesday Instagram tribute read, in part. “I’m going to miss you so much. more than any words can say.”
The makeup mogul’s sister Kim Kardashian also posted about feeling “crushed” over Guerrero’s death.
“Our glam fam means the world to us. We work together, vacation and celebrate our lives together!” the Skims creator, 44, wrote of getting to know “the kindest souls” and “bestest friends” this way.
