Brian Daboll might be losing patience with Daniel Jones.
The Giants’ coach was downright furious with his quarterback for not pulling the trigger on a flea flicker during the first half of the Giants’ game against the Panthers in Germany, per the NFL Network broadcast.
On 3rd-and-1 at the Giants’ 49-yard-line, Jones was sacked by D.J. Wonnum.
But the play only happened when Jones hesitated and didn’t get rid of the ball despite having Wan’Dale Robinson wide open down the field and Malik Nabers had created seperation too.
It was a miserable half for Jones and the Giants’ offense.
Jones completed 6-of-14 passes for 54 yards and tossed an interception deep in Carolina territory off a deflection.
Big Blue didn’t score against one for the worst defenses in the NFL over the game’s first 30 minutes.
The Panthers led, 10-0, at the break, just the second time they have led at halftime all year.
