NextImg:Brian Burns continues his dominance at Giants camp

Observations from the Giants’ training camp practice on Sunday.

Brian Burns had a case for three “sacks” in team drills.

He continues to be a handful for the offensive tackles.

Daniel Jones stepped up in the pocket when the play wasn’t blown dead and found a wide-open Wan’Dale Robinson down the seam in a blown coverage.

Jones started practice 5-for-5 to four different receivers but his sixth pass of the move-the-ball drill went through Daniel Bellinger’s hands and was intercepted by Jason Pinnock.

The ball was thrown around Bellinger’s helmet, but needed to be caught.

WR Isaiah McKenzie, who is in the mix to be the No. 5 receiver and a special teams returner, turned on the jets after a catch from QB Drew Lock.

It came in his first practice after leaving Friday’s with a hip pointer.

“Every now and then when I get the ball in my hands, I try to show them I still got it,” McKenzie, 29, quipped.

WR Bryce Ford Wheaton (lower leg) and TE Jack Stoll (concussion) did not practice.

C John Michael Schmitz (shoulder) missed his sixth straight practice as Greg Van Roten remained the starting center.

OG Josh Ezeudu returned to the field after reportedly dealing with dehydration.
