A look at the key March Madness 2025 games to watch on Sunday:

12:10 p.m., CBS

Florida is one of the trendy picks to win it all, but in order to do so, the Gators will have to get past UConn in this clash of the two most recent programs to have won back-to-back championships.

Freshman sensation Cooper Flagg returned from an ankle injury, scoring 14 points in Duke’s opening-round rout.

The Blue Devils will need him at full strength against Baylor, which has a future lottery pick of their own in VJ Edgecombe.

First to 100 wins?

Kentucky and Illinois rank sixth and eighth, respectively, in scoring offense, with the Over/Under set at a whopping 170.5 points.

Want to tune into as much March Madness as you can? DIRECTV Stream and Hulu + Live TV both have you covered with every channel you’ll need, plus free trials.

Illinois shoots the most 3s of any team still in the field (30.1 per game), and they sank 12 in a first-round win over Xavier.

Kentucky won’t mind a shooting contest, however, as Koby Brea (44.1 percent) was one of the nation’s most accurate 3-point shooters.

Talk about a clash of styles.

Saint Mary’s ranks 360th (out of 364 teams) in tempo, making them one of the slowest teams in the nation.

Alabama, meanwhile, ranks first, meaning whichever team plays the game at their preferred pace should have the advantage.

There could be a pair of first-round draft picks squaring off in Maryland freshman Derik Queen and Colorado State’s Nique Clifford.

Queen’s ballhandling and passing are rare for a 6-foot-10 center, while Clifford is a lethal outside shooter (38.4 percent from 3) and rebounds extremely well for a guard (9.7 per game).

New Mexico’s Richard Pitino made history with Friday’s victory over No. 7 Marquette, completing the first father-son coaching duo to win games in the same NCAA Tournament.

In order to make more history and reach New Mexico’s first Sweet 16 since 1974, he’ll have to upset Hall of Famer Tom Izzo and his deep Michigan State squad.

The Spartans go 10 deep, with no player averaging more than 12.9 ppg.

The first weekend of March Madness wraps up with a clash of former Pac-12 rivals. Arizona holds a 55-38 lead in the all-time series, going 2-1 against Oregon in 2024, their last year sharing a conference.

Arizona guard Caleb Love (16.4 ppg) already has 11 career NCAA Tournament games under his belt, having led North Carolina to the national title game in 2022.
