Bravo’s Real Housewives of Dubai has reportedly been put on hiatus after just two seasons on the air.

Us Weekly was he first to report the news. According to a source, the cast was notified of the network’s decision just “a couple days ago.”

The Dubai spinoff was the first international city of the franchise. It starred Chanel Ayan, Sara Al Madani, Caroline Brooks, Lesa Milan, Caroline Stanbury, and Taleen Marie. Nina Ali left the show after the first season, while Saba Yussouf appeared in the recent second season as a friend of the housewives.

Decider reached out to Bravo for further information.

The shocking news comes just weeks after the two-part Season 2 Reunion premiered on Peacock. The Housewives series first premiered on Bravo in 2022 and was swiftly renewed for a second season that did not air until June 2024.

Season 2 saw the end of Milan and Ayan’s friendship, as well as a tense back and forth between Stanbury and Brooks.

Brooks recently denied the rumors about the show going on hiatus, but later walked back her claim once the news broke.

“Not sure where all of these #RHODubai rumors are coming from. Bravo hasn’t announced anything and our ENTIRE cast hasn’t been told anything,” she wrote on X just weeks ago. “So I thought I might share that since there are people ‘teasing’ and ‘debunking’ rumors. Just saying it’s giving THIRSTY calm down.”

She later shared the post again with the comment, “This aged well… Ladies, don’t debunk things and make false announcements to mislead people. Girls speaking about ‘shakeups’ and all of the debunking, was.. well.. interesting to watch on my timeline. I TOLD YOU.”

RHOD is now the latest Bravo series to be put on hiatus, following Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard and Winter House, both of which went on hiatus earlier this year.

Both seasons of Real Housewives of Dubai are streaming now on Peacock.
