The girlfriend of Dodgers pitcher Bobby Miller had a two-word response after he took a line drive to his head in an exhibition tilt with the Chicago Cubs on Thursday.

“My gladiator,” Natalie Loureda wrote on her Instagram Story, including a statement from Miller assuring fans he’s OK.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Really means a lot,” wrote Miller, who’s in concussion protocol. “Scary moment I’m good! All praise to the man above. can’t wait to get back on the mound.”

Miller, 25, was on the mound when he was hit by a 106 mph come-backer from Cubs infielder Michael Busch in the third inning at Camelback Ranch in Arizona.

The righty immediately fell to the ground and grabbed his head, continuously rubbing the top of it.

He was surrounded by his teammates as he took a knee.

Miller walked off the field under his own power.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said the pitcher had a little headache on Friday, but overall was feeling OK, per the Los Angeles Times — adding that he joked with Miller he’s “got a hard head.”

The team will continue to monitor Miller and their hope is he can start throwing again soon, Roberts said.

Miller had just entered the game in the third inning before he was struck with Busch’s hit.

It was MLB’s first spring training game after the Dodgers’ won the 2024 World Series, defeating the Yankees in a deciding Game 5.
