No, you didn’t just travel back in time to when Windows 95 was cutting-edge technology.
Blues Traveler just announced a nationwide co-headlining tour with Gin Blossoms and Spin Doctors that will send the throwback trio to venues all over the U.S. from July through September.
That includes a stop at Atlantic City’s Ovation Hall at Ocean Casino Resort on Saturday, July 19.
Prior to the summer run, John Popper and Blues Traveler will swing into Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre for a show all by their lonesome on Thursday, May 29.
“Getting to play with dear old friends like Gin Blossoms and the Spin Doctors is one of the great benefits of a touring career that spans almost four decades now,” Popper, 57, shared in a statement. “These are
exceptional players and performers, and they push us to play even harder. Everybody digs in and makes each other better. We are looking forward to a great year of music!”
“It’s gonna be epic,” Spin Doctors guitarist Eric Schenkman added.
To close the trek, both Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms will play the Bourbon and Beyond Festival in Lexington, KY. The full lineup for the annual four-day extravaganza drops Feb. 5. As of now, the only act announced set to headline is Khruangbin.
Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming Blues Traveler shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the newly announced co-headlining tour is Friday, Feb. 7.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.
