I can’t get enough of the Tommy DeVito story.
No matter what team you root for, it’s hard not to enjoy seeing the undrafted Italian Stallion from Jersey come out of nowhere to help the Giants win games at the most important position in the sport.
The kid is sleeping at his family’s home, 10 minutes from MetLife Stadium.
He’s got his mom doing his laundry and the cutlets coming in fresh.
Plus, who doesn’t like chicken cutlets? As Mr. Chicken Parm myself, I love it.
DeVito has the Giants a game out of the playoffs after the team was 2-8 with all hope seemingly lost this season.
It’s an uphill climb to make the playoffs, which would need to include four more Giants win, two coming over the Eagles.
But hey, they are still alive and a fun team to watch. That’s all you could ask for at this point after an ugly first 10 games.
To talk about DeVito, the 24-22 Giants’ win Monday night over the Packers and where they stand now, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Paul Schwartz and Brandon London.
