She’s a Barbie girl in a Billie world.
Billie Eilish showed off a new doll-like look in a photo she posted on Instagram yesterday, sporting a vintage Barbie hairstyle — and platinum blond locks — as she promoted her forthcoming song on the “Barbie” movie’s soundtrack.
“’What Was I Made For?’ SONG AND VIDEO COMING THIS THURSDAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!” the Grammy winner, 21, captioned the post, adding, “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! i caaaaaaaan’t wait to see what you think???????? !! that s—t hurted ????.”
In the pic, the “Ocean Eyes” singer wears a vintage-style yellow short sleeve dress and matching drop earrings as she turns her head away from the camera to reveal a bouncy Barbie-like ponytail and curled bangs.
She also shared a seven-second clip from the music video on TikTok, showing just a neck-up look at the 1950s-inspired production as she sings “What Was I Made For?”
Fans were pumped about the new look (and song), like one who wrote on Instagram, “BLONDE BILLIE A COMEBACK?!?!”
“Giving stepford wives in the hottest way,” another Instagram user added.
“i love barbie eilish” the official Facebook account commented on the post, while Barbie’s Instagram wrote, “Ready to sob ????????✨.”
The look is a far cry from the outfit — and hair — Eilish rocked on the red carpet at Sunday’s “Barbie” premiere in Los Angeles.
The “Bad Guy” singer wore a Barbiecore pink pinstriped shirt and a fuschia tie for the world premiere of the highly anticipated Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling flick, adding cropped black trousers, pink scrunchy socks and a huge pair of white sneakers.
For more Page Six Style …
Her platinum tresses from the music video were nowhere to be seen, with the star wearing her black hair down in a straight style with bangs.
Eilish joins Dua Lipa — who rocked a sparkling see-through dress on Sunday’s pink carpet — along with Lizzo, Nicki Minaj and a host of other artists on the Greta Gerwig-directed film’s soundtrack.
It was of course Robbie who took the cake, however, channeling Solo in the Spotlight Barbie in a perfect black sequin gown.
While the movie doesn’t hit theaters until July 21, Barbie girls only have to wait one more day to play Eilish’s song on repeat.
