Bill Maher recently revealed he had a two-hour interview with Ye, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West, for his podcast – but it will likely never be released.

The Real Time host revealed in an upcoming TMZ Investigates special on the controversial rapper that he found Ye’s political views too “problematic” to share on his podcast, Club Random With Bill Maher.

The outlet writes, “Bill tells us the biggest problem with Kanye is how he uses his massive platform to spread antisemitic propaganda … as BM puts it, Ye’s spreading the fertilizer for antisemitism to grow.”

Maher didn’t specify what Ye said during their interview to change his mind, but he did refer to the rapper as “charming antisemite.”

TMZ Investigates: Kanye West: Unhinged but Unstoppable will explore Ye’s publicized downfall that resulted from his increasingly alarming views. The special will feature interviews with various celebrities, many of whom appear to believe Ye will never truly be “canceled” despite his beliefs and public outbursts.

“If you don’t care about being canceled you can’t be canceled,” The Game says in the TMZ Investigates trailer, referring to Ye.

Ye has made antisemitic remarks on multiple occasions, the most recent being when he compared himself to Adolf Hitler and Jesus Christ. The rapper later apologized to the Jewish community with a social media post written in Hebrew, saying, “It was not my intention to offend or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.”

After making multiple anti-semitic remarks, Ye was eventually dropped by his talent agency, CAA. He also lost major partnerships he had with Balenciaga and Adidas, and a documentary about him was indefinitely shelved.

TMZ Investigates will also explore Ye’s relationship with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, with psychology experts weighing in on whether his harmful views pose a threat to their children.

TMZ Investigates airs on Mondays on Fox at 9/8c.
