Bill Belichick’s days in North Carolina have undoubtedly been busy lately, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have time to celebrate a special day with his girlfriend.

The new Tar Heels football coach and Jordon Hudson celebrated their anniversary on Friday night, the 23-year-old shared on her Instagram story.

Hudson posted a picture of a decadent dessert plate where the words “Happy Anniversary” were written on what appeared to be a slice of chocolate cake.

The former Bridgewater State cheerleader added her own caption words to the post, writing: “Better late than never.”

After first meeting in 2021 on a flight when the ex-Patriots coach signed one of her textbooks, the couple’s relationship went public last summer.

Since then, the two have been together at some prominent events, including this year’s NFL Honors and Super Bowl 2025 in New Orleans.

They even appeared together in a Dunkin’ Donuts commercial during the big game.

A source told Page Six in February that the two “definitely discussed marriage” as their relationship progressed, adding that Hudson “hasn’t put any pressure on Bill at all to propose, and she feels like it will happen when and if the time is right.”

Belichick, after six Super Bowl wins as a head coach with the Patriots, now gets his first crack at the college game.

During spring practices this week, he opened up about the “fun” he’s had.

“That’s the great thing about being a head coach, I can coach anybody I want,” Belichick said earlier this week. “I can coach the line, I can yell at the tight ends, I can yell at the DBs, I can yell at the kickers.

“I can go to any group I want and coach them. And honestly, that’s the fun part.”
