The Biden-Harris administration does not care about national security. 

Exhibit 1 Billion: The ugly case of Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, an Afghan national who did work for the CIA in his home country and got a US special visa after President Biden’s disastrous bugout. 

Tawhedi now stands accused of plotting to execute an ISIS-style terror attack on Election Day. 

Keep in mind that, as the beneficiary of a special visa, he was theoretically subject to heavy screening before he entered the United States. 

But all evidence shows the Biden team took that about as seriously as our open border, the Iran threat or any other national-security issue. 

Indeed, the Biden-Harris geniuses admitted some 77,000 Afghans into the country under the same terms as Tawhedi.

But, per federal law-enforcement officials, the Department of Homeland Security folks tasked with screening such visa holders “had no clue” and were utterly overwhelmed by the inflows as Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. 

The Office of the Inspector General confirmed it: “DHS encountered obstacles to screen, vet, and inspect all evacuees during the recent Afghanistan crisis.”

DHS head Alejandro Mayorkas, of course, brazenly stonewalled a reporter who dared question him about this (thankfully averted) catastrophe. 

It’s not clear at the moment whether Tawhedi was already a secret would-be terrorist when he got his visa or if he became one after landing stateside. 

Both possibilities are utterly damning: Either way, countless others admitted under this program also present possible terror risks. 

That would be in line with the vast numbers of terror suspects crossing unimpeded over the southern border under Biden-Harris-Mayorkas, some of whom have already attempted terror attacks. 

Like the attempted box-truck ramming of a Virginia Marine base earlier this year. 

But that Tawhedi was the product of a special program, promised to be secure and safe, proves just how deep into the abyss Biden and Harris have led this country when it comes to immigration.
