Seemingly no one had Wyndham Clark to win the Wells Fargo Championship — except for one sharp bettor.

This bettor pulled together a sizable $5,500 wager on Clark to win at 60:1 odds with a life-changing $335,000 payout.

Clark had never won a PGA Tour event before Sunday but played the weekend of his life with an excellent -19 under

Xander Schauffele was on the trail at -15 under with no other golfer really threatening Clark’s lead on Sunday.

Schauffele had the third-best odds (+1600) to win coming into the weekend, but the other favorites really struggled to make a significant impact at Quail Hollow.

Coming into the weekend, the two favorites were Rory Mcllroy (+750) and Patrick Cantley (+1400), who had mixed results finishing even and -2 under respectively.

But the massive bet lives on as one of the absolutely wildest seen so far in 2023.
