A massive 13-leg parlay came up aces for “Million Dollar” Marco Piemonte, who stayed true to his nickname by winning $1.6 million, one of the largest payouts we have seen this year.

The bet consisted of four NBA bets, two college football games and seven NFL games, with most of the wagers consisting of alternate spreads.

With most of the bets being favorites, the 13-leg parlay came in at +3946 odds, and the $40,000 bet profited $1,578,738.10.

However, Piemonte did hedge his final leg of the parlay, Eagles +10 against the Chiefs on “Monday Night Football.”

Piemonte wagered $500,000 on the Chiefs -2, hoping for a Chiefs win by a field goal but not more than 10 points in an attempt to “middle” the bet.

But Kansas City’s ineptitude on offense and several brutal drops made that middle attempt go by the wayside in a 21-17 loss.

Thus, Piemonte’s actual profit is a shade over the million-dollar mark, profiting $1,078,738.10.

This bet was nearly over before it started too.

The Los Angeles Clippers, who had a hard-fought game against the Rockets on Friday night, needed some late-game heroics to win.

The Rockets were up by five points with 2:16 left in the game, but consecutive Houston misses, followed by some timely offensive rebounds by the Clippers, helped Los Angeles rally.

James Harden nailed his first clutch basket in Los Angeles, a 3-pointer that turned into a four-point play with six seconds left and put the game out of reach.

Another leg of the parlay was on the Broncos moneyline against the Vikings, a bet that nearly lost had Courtland Sutton not come down with a jump ball in the end zone from quarterback Russell Wilson.

Piemonte was posting the cash-out offers from DraftKings on his Instagram story throughout the “Sunday Night Football” game but refused all of the offers.

He responded to one fan that he would “rather lose” than cash out.

Piemonte also won $260,000 on several bets on the NHL’s worst team, the San Jose Sharks, earlier in the month.
