Betting on Beloit star Konya Hendricks-Schuh, daughter of billionaire Diane Hendricks, has taken matters into her own hands when it comes to the family’s hometown of Beloit, Wisconsin. The real estate mogul’s mission was to restore the historical homes in the town, rather than replace them. However, one house proved run-down beyond repair.

In an exclusive clip obtained by Decider, Konya explains to Diane why the demolition of 730 Park was necessary.

“Holy crap,” Diane says as she unexpectedly pulls up to the murder scene — a pile of wood and windows where a home used to stand. “You apparently couldn’t fix this one.”

“Hi Mom,” Konya says sheepishly. “I meant to tell you that this was happening, but you were busy.”

The team goes on to explain they did everything they could, and that they plan to rebuild an exact replica of the historical home.

“Our plan is to rebuild it so it still fits the neighborhood,” Konya tells her mom. “We’re gonna do our absolute best to retain the historical details of this home.”

Diane and Konya have stayed true to their mission of flipping houses, rather than bulldozing them. Diane wants the community to understand that they are working to rehabilitate the neighborhood, not remake it.

“What do the neighbors think?” Diane asks Konya of the demolition.

“You’re gonna be the one that gets blamed for it. You actually own it,” Konya jokes.

“We try to save houses, restore them and bring them back,” Diane affirms. “But apparently, this one here, you’ve said, probably should’ve been condemned.”

Now, the team’s “biggest challenge yet” ensues.

“Our mission has always been to restore homes,” Konya said. “Rebuilding a replica of this historic home, that’s a lot of pressure, and I have to get it right.”
