BetMGM lists the over/under for tonight’s game at eight runs and I like the under because of who is pitching for both teams.

Cleveland starter Shane Bieber is having another good season with a 3.51 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP. Bieber may not be performing at the same level of his last two seasons, but he is still capable of making a lineup look silly in any given start. His counterpart Wade Miley has been great for Milwaukee with a 3.28 ERA and a career-low 1.09 WHIP. If both of these guys get in a groove, it could be a tough night to be a hitter at Progressive Field.

Another factor that could help the pitchers is that both the Guardians and Brewers have really struggled at the plate this season. Both teams are bottom-five in runs scored and both are bottom-six in team OPS, with Cleveland at 25th overall (.683) and Milwaukee two spots lower (.677). Even worse, the Guardians have by far the lowest home run total in baseball with 48 bombs through 74 games played, while the Brewers have a putrid .226 team batting average, which is only ahead of the Oakland A’s.
