It’s going to be cold — really cold — in Kansas City tonight when the Chiefs host the Miami Dolphins in the Wild Card round.
Kansas City is favored by 4.5 points in this frigid affair. In a game this cold, I’m leaning with the team with more experience in the elements and rolling with the Chiefs to cover.
If this game were played in a dome or in regular weather, then I would probably go with Miami to cover just because of how shaky KC has been at times this season. But the game will be outside in the freezing cold and wind chill, and there’s no way that helps the Dolphins.
Plus, Miami has lost every big game it has played in other than a win over the Cowboys. It has faded down the stretch with two straight losses, and will be without multiple key players due to injury, including Bradley Chubb, Xavien Howard, Andrew Van Ginkel and Jerome Baker. Not an ideal scenario for a road playoff upset against the defending champs.
