Tarik Skubal is looking for a bounce-back start against the Mariners on Wednesday.

The reigning American League Cy Young winner was knocked around in his first start of the season against the vaunted Dodgers lineup, giving up four earned runs and two home runs with just two strikeouts over five innings.

In two career starts in Seattle, Skubal has been dominant, striking out 18 batters over 12 innings while holding hitters to a .163/.234/.349 slash line.

Meanwhile, the Mariners paltry offense doesn’t look any improved from last season when it was one of the worst in baseball.
