They’ll send Spencer Schwellenbach, who has been absolutely dominant during his first two starts, to the mound as they aim to do so.

Schwellenbach dominated during last outing, with the 24-year-old right-hander tossing eight shutout innings against the Marlins and striking out ten while allowing just two hits and zero walks.
His 2025 debut wasn’t too shabby either, throwing six shutout, one-hit innings in San Diego against the Padres.
The former second-round pick’s performance during the early-going has already vaulted him in the National League Cy Young mix, sitting as the fourth-favorite at BetMGM as of Wednesday afternoon.
While he’s looked excellent thus far, Schwellenbach is getting his toughest test yet against a stacked Phillies lineup.
Heading into Wednesday’s play, Philadelphia is striking out just 20.3 percent of the time, which is the seventh-lowest rate in the league.
Schwellenbach’s stuff doesn’t look all that much different from 2024 when he posted a 3.35 ERA — it just might the time for him to come back to earth.
