Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+110) vs. Atlanta Falcons (-130)
The Bucs take on the the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz on Sunday in what will be an exciting NFC South matchup.
The Falcons have had a better year than initially expected with the running game doing most of the heavy lifting on offense. At the time of this writing, they were averaging just over 135 yards a game on the ground. The one-two punch of Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier has given Atlanta one of the most formidable ground games in the country.
Both Robinson and Allgeier have three rushing touchdowns this year and QB Desmond Ridder has four scores on the ground as he’s been proving himself as a capable two-way threat.
The Falcons are better than the Bucs offensively, and defensively. Tampa Bay’s running game has been in the tank most of the year and the passing game has subsequently taken a hit too. Some of that is to be expected with the QB drop-off but they’ve still underperformed with the weapons they have.
Desmond Ridder had some issues in the redzone during the last matchup between these two but he’s been more accurate and more efficient lately.
