The Knicks showed some flashes of their new-look offense under first-year Knicks head coach Mike Brown during their two-game set in Abu Dhabi against the Philadelphia 76ers. There was a noticeable uptick in pace during those games, something the head coach said will be a key factor for this season.
The last time these two teams met in the preseason, there were more than a few fireworks between the players.
That could be a factor on Thursday as this will also be the first time Knicks fans see former All-Star Julius Randle in the Garden after he opened up about the end of his tenure with the Knicks before last year’s blockbuster trade.
